Reflections of North

This is a scene made from Stampscapes.
Scene was completed in 3 weeks.

The scene was stamped in Black Staz On. The number of stamps was between 18-20 stamps. Water colored with Distress Ink re-inkers and fine brushes. Love black and white with sections painted out~ plan to experiment more. The goal was to achieve contrast of colors for depth.

OLW Snowflakes

I want to welcome my new followers and thank everyone for inviting me into their blog world.

Here is Simple One layer Card made from Studio G stamps that I bought for a $1. It took 3 trials to tame my stickles addition.
1. stamped the Sentiment
2. embossed the snowflakes.
3. stamped the little snowman
4 added stickles to the whole snowman (wish the picture captured the sparkle better)
5.tied a red ribbon to emphasis his red scarf.
I'm having surgery tomorrow so hopefully I can start some Christmas cards(fingers crossed). I know a little procrastination going on here. Been playing with my new camera. Then hubby surprised me with a professional flash. I think I need a course on how to use it all.
I pray you all have a great weekend and many blessing to you all~ENJOY!

Skating in the Woods

Craft a Scene  challenge for December: Winter Scene.
                                      Dream Valley non- tradition Christmas

I made this scene from a blurry photo. Normally I delete them but it had great colors and texture. Trimmed photo and turned it sideways and began to play. I sketched this little figure skater and added star dust to the skate blade. Distress scene to create a old worn feel ~ENJOY!

Stampscape Stamps: Lg Cove, Pines and Rocks, Reeds and Bare Branch.
Distress Markers, White Gel, Star Dust pen, card, pic holders and sticker from stash.
Tonic Distressing Tools  and Vintage Paper Distress Ink
