For Your Inspiration

Photo inspiration   For Your Inspiration Challenge 32

They give you an inspiration photo and you make a creation on how you interrupt it. This is my first time in the challenge. I love the photo for this week and immediately knew what I wanted to do. I just had to figure out how to execute my idea. I focused more on the snow than the bridge. I saw the snow laying on the trees like beautiful writing on paper. Nature photos are like poetry for me. I know it sounds corny but that is how I am So I stamped the trees and overlay it with scripted embossed translucent. The words sparkle like ice covered trees. The ribbon with buckle reflects the bridge. The black on the bottom with white sentiment represents the  water with the reflection of the bridge/snow which in my case is scripted words of poetry~ENJOY!
This is a close up of the sparkle scripted words over the trees. This also qualifies for the Less Is More Something Shiny Challenge # 72

Materials used:Stampscapes Stamps,
Translucent/ Card Stock~ Paper Studios
Cuttlebug Script embossing folder
Adirondack ink
Buckle recycled from another card :)

Knitting Ruffle Scarves

Good morning, the weather has been has been 90' or better. I have been sitting here making scarves..LOL Thank goodness for air conditioning and ceiling fans. My daughter and I went downtown for a day out. We walked into the yarn store and I fell in love with these scarves. I am hoping to teach my daughter how to knit this summer. Well let's just say I'll keep trying to convince her there is no age limit on knitting. Now that I finished the scarves, hopefully I will get to wear these at some point. She didn't like them in the store but now they're in her closet! The scarf on the left is made from 6 stitches knitted with Circulo Tecido Trico`100% polyester fabric (Middle pic) size 10 needles. The one on the right is made from Tu Tu yarn with 7 stitches knitted with size 10 needles. These are called RUFFLE SCARVES~ENJOY!

OLC Corner Rose

Less Is More Week 72 Challenge~Something Shiny.
I just bought this Kaiser Craft Clear Stamp this morning while running errands. It is from the collection: These Days. I fell in love with the corner rose. I stamped it with black Staz On and colored it with Prisma Watercolor pencils. The sentiment is from Hampton Art. I am not a real bling person and only have one color of gems thank goodness they were pink because it worked. I added Star Dust Stickles and Glossy Accents from Ranger and made it shiny and it kept it one layer~ Phew!

This next card is the same but without the glossy accents. It was for the OLW 92(one layer wednesday):On the Edge
This is stamping up to the edge but not going off the edge~ENJOY!
This was done with the same Kaiser Craft Stamp Set: These Days and Hampton Art sentiment. Black Staz On Ink and Prisma Watercolor pencils. Pink bling and Staples White card stock.

OLC with Flourish

I went through my stamps again and came across the Kaiser's Tiger Lilly set  and it had a flourish stamp. So I could enter into this challenge (yippy). This card is masked off and sponged with Adirondack Ink Shell Pink inside the mask. The sentiment and bird are TPS Vintage Bird Cages Set. I Stamped the sentiment  then the bird in Brown Staz On. I masked off the flourish and stamped that in  Brown Staz On and removed all masked from card. I then  scored a frame around the picture x2. This is for the LIM One Layer Card Challenge #71: Flourish. Hope this is enough of the flourish it took 11 It was one of those days were I should have walked away and came back ENJOY!

One Layer Beach Silhouette

Good morning, hope all is well with everyone. I've been making one layer cards in between raindrops. I have learned you have to plan your scene or one mistake can be difficult to cover to maintain one layer. I forgot to mention that the silhouette was a little boy at first. So  I added some "puff sleeves"(like Anne Shirley on A of Green Gables) I flared his pants and added more hair and whoa la A Girl! ~ENJOY!
