Stampscape Candle Holders

Good Morning Bloggers
I wanted to share a project I have been working on for the last few days. Here are a couple of candle holders my father made from  leftover projects. Mom wanted a Stampscape scene on them so I stamped a scene on all four sides. Then painted them with Distress ink and a aqua pen. The scene is interchangeable depending on how you set the blocks together.
I still have spray them with a clear coat and then they are ready.                                                                                                                                          ~ENJOY!

Superior View Stampscape

Happy Autumn!

This is one continuous scene cut into sections for more drama or 3 separate cards depending on what you wanted to accomplish with it. I chose to frame it for our bedroom.

Here is a close up of the scene without the protective glass. The colors are vivid with a touch of a distress for a vintage look~ENJOY!

Photo Inspiration

I decided to go through some of my photo's and stamp on them. These make quick cards and can be used with any picture. I have been to tag sales, garage sales, and estate sales and found old black and white photos for cards. I was stunned to see families getting rid of old family photo's but that is not for me to know. All I know is there were some great photo's. The ink is Archival Ink.

Masculine Graduation Card

The scene was created using Craft A Scene challenge this month ships in the night. The sentiment is made on a envelope that was sent to me.  I  cut off the postmark, ink it and stamp the sentiment from Tim Holtz for a vintage feel. I had some leftover scraps on my table and added them for texture. I masked a compass on the background matt then adhered a Stampscape scene in distress ink. The whole card is made from scraps on an easel card base. This card will be used for a graduation card~ENJOY!

Quiet Morning of Fishing

I was inspired by the photo at FOR YOUR INSPIRATION FYI#45
I loved the color tone but most of all was the texture of the rocks.
I tried to create some depth with the rocks in the scene and used Stampscape Stamps, Staz On ink, Distress Markers and Gel pens. I used fishing line underneath the the fish scene.~ENJOY!

Sm. Eagle

This is another scene from my box of unfinished projects. The background was all stamped out with green, brown and blue ink. It was so dull and blah! Makes me wonder what I was thinking at that time.
Prisma pencils and distress markers were added to the scene for more of a visual interest. The scene was then blended with an Aqua brush. The foreground was added with Stazon Jet Black ink. I finally had a scene to add the new Stampscapes Eagle stamp. I have to admit, I find fixing these old scenes very relaxing.
I wish you a warm and sunny weekend~ENJOY!
